P/O J.R.B.Meaker of No 249 Squadron was killed on the 27th of September 1940 at 15:20hrs. He baled out of his Hurricane I (P3834) after attacking a Ju 88 over Sussex, but he struck the tail-pane of his Hurricane and was killed.
Sgt G.M.Mean of No 219 Squadron baled out of his Blenheim safely after engine problems on the 12th of October 1940. His pilot (R.V.Baron) was not so lucky, his parachute did not open an he was killed.
F/L S.T.Meares was a member of the staff at HQ Fighter Command during the Battle, it is believed he flew one sortie from Hornchurch with No 54 Squadron on the 12th of August, qualifying him for the Battle of Britain clasp. S.T.Meares was awarded the D.F.C. on the 22nd of July 1941, then being credited with destroying two Bf 109's and damaging two more. Posted to a training command, he was involved in a mid-air collision on the 15th of November 1941 and killed, aged 25.
F/Lt. W.E.G. 'Tink' Measures joined No 74 Squadron in July 1937 from R.A.F. Cranwell and flew Spitfire I's with them and with No 238 Squadron in Hurricane's during the Battle of Britain.
Sgt H.J.Merchant of No 1 Squadron force landed a Hurricane I (P2980) at Withyham, Kent on the 23rd of August 1940 after running out of fuel. He hit some trees but was unhurt. He was wounded on the 31st of August 1940. He baled out of his burning Hurricane I (V7375) after combat with a Bf 110 over Halstead at 08:45hrs.
P/O C.Merrick joined No 610 Squadron on the 27th of  July 1940. Merrick's Spitfire I (L1037) was shot down on the 24th of August at 16:30hrs by Bf 109's and he crash landed at Fyfield and was wounded, he took no further part in the Battle.  Merrick was awarded the D.F.C. on the 14th of July 1944. He was a pilot of a paratrooper  transport in the Caen area of Normandy on the night of the 5th of June 1944. He also received the Bronze Star (US) on the 30th of October 1945 for this mission. 
Sgt S.W.Merryweather from No 229 Squadron was wounded on the 26th of September 1940 at 16:30hrs. He force landed his Hurricane I (V6745) at Hambledon in Surrey after combat with a Bf 110.
Sgt B.W.Mesner of No 248 Squadron was killed along with his crew (W.J.Garfield the pilot & A.Kay) on the 13th of September 1940 at 19:00hrs. Their Blenheim IVf (L9451) went missing during a sortie off the Norwegian coast.
Sgt J.Metham from No 253 Squadron was injured on the 2nd of September 1940 when his Hurricane I (P2946) was shot down by a Bf 109 over Thanet at 08:15hrs.
F/O W.B.M.Millar a Canadian of No 1 (R.C.A.F.) Squadron was wounded on the 9th of September 1940. He baled out of his Hurricane I (P3081) after combat near Northolt. He was badly burned.
P/O Jocelyn P.G.Millard flew Hurricane's with No 1 Squadron in the Battle of Britain. 
P/O R.F.G.Miller an Australian of No 609 Squadron was killed on the 27th of September 1940 at 11:45hrs. His Spitfire I (X4107) collided with a Bf 110 of ZG 26 near Kingcome in Dorset.
P/O William 'Bill' H.Millington an Australian flew with No 79 Squadron and No 249 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. Whilst flying with No 79 Squadron on the 31st of August 1940 he was wounded when he crash landed his Hurricane I (P3050) on fire after combat with a Bf 109 over Romney at 18:00hrs. W.H.Millington moved to No 249 Squadron. He was K.I.A. on the 30th of October 1940. He was shot down in his Hurricane I (V7536) over the Channel at 13:00hrs.
Sgt J.P.Mills joined No 43 Squadron in early July 1940. Mills shot down a Bf 109 on the 13th of August and scored three more kills during the Battle of Britain. J.P.Mills was awarded the D.F.C. on the 7th of April 1944.
S/L R.S.Mills D.F.C. took over as Squadron Leader of No 87 Hurricane Squadron from the 18th of August from Squadron Leader T.G.Lovell-Gregg who had been killed on the 15th of August 1940.
P/O J.A.Milne a Canadian of No 605 Squadron was wounded on the 22nd of October 1940 after combat with some Bf 109's. He crash landed his Hurricane I (V6783) near Dorking at 14:30hrs. He had a broken hip.
F/O Richard Maxwell Milne went to France with No 151 Squadron destroying three aircraft there and another before the Battle began. During August 1940 he shot down two Do 17's on the 13th, a Bf 109 on the 15th and a He 111 on the 18th.  He was awarded the D.F.C. on the 30th of August 1940 and after scoring four more victories on sweeps over France, a Bar as well on the11th of November 1941. F/O R.M.Milne was shot down and became a P.O.W. on the 14th of March 1943.
P/O G.T.M.Mitchell from No 609 Squadron was shot down and killed off Portland on the 11th of July 1940 at 18:25hrs, by a Bf 109 of JG 27while on convoy patrol in his Spitfire (L1095) at 18:25hrs. His body was washed ashore later.
F/O R.G.Mitchell of No 257 Squadron was killed on the 7th of  September 1940 at 17:30hrs. His Hurricane I (P3049) was shot down over the Thames Estuary.
