Day: The Luftwaffe is down to about 500sorties . A day of concentrated fighter-bomber strafing and widespread small bombing raids, mainly on fighter airfields, railway and factory installations in South-East, Central and Western areas. Targets include Dover (Bf 109's of JG 26), Folkestone, Manston (Erprobungsgruppe 210, Bf 110's), Andover, Cardiff, Middle Wallop, Sealand. The Goodwin lightship was also sunk.

Night: Night raids all over southern England and into Wales.

Losses: Luftwaffe 21 : Fighter Command 6

Weather: Largely overcast, but with some bright intervals.
