Sunday the 6th of October 1940
Day: Light raids London and East Anglia. Following approach of large raids from Channel, most are only from single air craft or small groups attacking airfields around London. The afternoon similar, with strikes against airfields from Northolt across to Middle Wallop.

Night: There were almost no night attacks. Only seven raiders over London.

Losses: Luftwaffe 9: Fighter Command 2.

Weather: Very overcast with continuous rain.
