Day: Bombing attacks are hampered by the weather. There was much reconnoitring of RAF airfields, resulting later in attacks upon Manston, Eastchurch and West Malling. Several attacks on shipping.

Night: Little activity just a few night raids in the South West.

Losses: Luftwaffe 8: Fighter Command 2.

Weather: The Channel and Northern Europe fine. Elsewhere was cloudy, with gusting winds and continuous rain spreading from the North.
