Tuesday the 10th of September 1940
Day: Poor weather delays activity until late afternoon. Probing raids then sent against several South-Eastern airfields. Later, other small groups from along the Thames estuary penetrate South and South West London, with little effect. Gathering enemy naval activity is noted off Dieppe.Small scale airfield raiding in the afternoon.

Night: Heavy all-night raiding against London with diversionary raids around Merseyside and parts of South Wales.

Losses: Luftwaffe 15 (including 9 write-offs in RAF raid on Eindhoven): Fighter Command 2.

Weather: Generally overcast, with occasional rain.
