Wednesday the 18th of September 1940
Day: Fighters and fighter-bombers crossed into Kent, with various light raids on  the Thames Estuary and London.

Night: Mainly on the London suburbs and some on Merseyside.

British reconnaissance over Antwerp and the channel ports shows that about 1.600 invasion craft are assembled. The are now under constant day and night attack from Bomber Command and Coastal Command.

Losses: Luftwaffe 20: Fighter Command 14

Weather: Bright, but with showers.
