Day: The weather enables small numbers of single raiders to make low-level sorties over a very wide area of Central England. The De Havilland aircraft factory at Hatfield is bombed.

Night:  Raids are restricted by the weather, though, many suburbs receive damage. Some bombs fell on the General Aircraft factory at Feltham.

Losses: Luftwaffe 9: Fighter Command 0.

Weather: Overcast, with rain and drizzle with visibility poor.
