Day: Small attacks on wide front. Some 50-60 raids fan out across Kent during day to attack various areas in the South East and South Midlands. North Weald is damaged.

Night:   Clearing skies at night bring London's heaviest attack yet with 500 killed. Coventry is also attacked

Losses: Luftwaffe 3: Fighter Command 1

Weather: Rain and drizzle spreading from the South East.
