| Day: Despite ideal weather, reconnaissance flights only,
as though to assess remaining fighter strength. Fighter Command's aircraft
losses are serious enough, but losses of trained pilots is of more concern,
and more re-training is initiated.
Night: Night raiding, over Midlands, Merseyside and South Wales, fairly light. Some mine laying also during night. Losses: Luftwaffe 3: Fighter Command 1. Weather: Fine, but hazy some light cloud in east. |
